St. Mary’s Medical Center implements visitor badges
According to Essentia Health, beginning on Tuesday, October 10th, the St. Mary’s Medical Center will start issuing badges to visitors at the hospital. This is to increase the safety and well-being of patients and staff.
Essentia Health now requires visitor badges at Duluth Location
Visitors should stop at the reception desk to recieve a visitor badge that is good for one day. They will need to bring a photo ID or have a patient vouch for them to recieve a visitor badge. Children will not have their photo taken but they will also need a visitor’s badge.
Badges should be returned when visitors leave the building. The new badge system will help track the amount of visitors at St. Mary’s and to make sure they are in the area they need to be in.
