The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) football team took over the number 22 spot in the latest American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) poll released on Monday.

They previously held the number 11 spot before falling to Wayne State University 31-28 Saturday at home.

The Bulldogs, now 3-1 overall on the season, are one of just three Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) teams to land in the Top 25.
