Prep soccer: Duluth Denfeld, East, & Marshall drop season openers

In prep girls soccer on Friday, Duluth Denfeld, Duluth East and Duluth Marshall all dropped their season openers at home.
Denfeld fell 2-1 to North Branch in their first game under new head coach, Denfeld and College of St. Scholastica (CSS) alum Leah Hamm. Alyssa Doyle scored the Hunters sole goal.
Duluth Marshall fell 4-1 to New Prague, with Nina Thorson scoring the only goal for the Hilltoppers.
East dropped game one of their Duluth East invite 4-0 to Rosemount.
