Huskies split road series with Honkers

On Wednesday night, the Duluth Huskies picked up a 7-2 road win against the Rochester Honkers to split the series.

Duluth was led offensively by Michael Brooks, Peyton Powell, Xavier Carter, and Dom Meza, who each had an RBI.

On the mound, Zach Statzer threw five shutout innings, striking out five, and only giving up three hits.

The Huskies lost game one on Monday night 8-6.

They will next take on the La Crosse Loggers Thursday at home. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m.
