Moose Lake-Willow River basketball’s Mikrot commits to Crookston

On Sunday, Moose Lake-Willow River standout Natalie Mikrot announced her commitment to play basketball for the University of Minnesota Crookston.

As a junior last season, she led the Rebels with 449 points, averaging 23.6 points a game, to become the school’s all-time leading scorer in both boy’s and girl’s basketball.

She also led the team in assists with 57 and tallied 67 rebounds.

Mikrot helped the Rebels to an 8-11 overall record, including a Section 7AA tournament appearance.
