Still several power outages for Monday’s storms

Crews continue to work to restore power to areas hit by severe weather on Monday. Power companies across the Northland reported several power outages throughout the night. WDIO News continues to track the power outage situation.

Lake Country Power has over 370 customers without power as of 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. At its peak, more thant 5,100 customers were in the dark, but crews worked to restore a good majority of that.

Lake Country Power says they have 25 broken poles to replace and they estimate power should be fully restored by Wednesday evening.

According to Minnesota Power, they had over 13,000 customers without power during the height of the storms on Monday night. Currently, Minnesota Power reports 6 active outages affecting 339 customers. Crews continue to work to resolve the issues.
