Police arrest four after ‘operation’ in Downtown Duluth Monday
Four people have been arrested following a police ‘operation’ in Downtown Duluth Monday.
This comes after police conducted arrest and search warrants on the 100 Block of E. 3rd Street and the 800 block of Upham Road, following recent shootings.
During the ‘operation,’ police seized multiple drugs and weapons and arrested four without incident.
The arrests include:
- 29-year-old Dorian Singer who was arrested on Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person
- 30-year-old Martinique Washington who was arrested on 3rd Degree Sale of Fentanyl
- 37-year-old Jason Burns who was arrested on a warrant for 2nd Degree Attempted Murder
- 49-year-old Ulysses Snell who was arrested on 5th Degree Possession of Fentanyl.
The Tactical Response Team, the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, St. Louis County’s Emergency Response Team and a K-9 helped out with the ‘operation.’
This is the same block where 22-year-old Juamada Keller Anderson Jr. was shot and killed back in May, marking the City of Duluth’s first homicide of 2021. A memorial is still set up there for him.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
