Huskies rally late to secure sweep over Mud Puppies

On Friday the Duluth Huskies rallied late to down the Minnesota Mud Puppies 10-7 and secure the sweep at Wade Stadium.

The Huskies entered the eighth inning trailing 7-4, then went on to score six unanswered runs.

Ryan McDonald and Charlie Rhee each contributed two RBI, one hit and one run in Duluth’s victory.

The Huskies improve to 7-3 on the second half of the season.

They open up another home series Saturday hosting the Mankato MoonDogs. First pitch is set for 3:05pm at Wade Stadium.
