Same racetrack but a different motorsport

An old track has been bought to life roughly ten years after being closed. Formerly named copper creek Motorsports Park and "The Apollo" has a new name. The track has been renamed Black River Motorsports Park.

Owner Brian Johnson has a vision to take the track in a new direction. "This used to be a go-kart track, so they raced wing go-karts out here. I’ve kind of repurposed it for drifting, says Johnson. It works; it needs a little bit more paving to be really good, but it’s not far from being an awesome drifting spot, and it’s a popular motorsport."
