As they approach their 40th anniversary, the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation is looking to change the way they make an impact.
Investments from their Community Opportunity Fund are going to focus on three areas: 1) Opportunity 2) Resilience 3) Belonging
President and CEO Shaun Floerke explained, “We want to move into what we’re calling transformational work. So we’re going to do big grants for multi year work. So 100,000 a year for up to five years. We’re inviting people who are collaborating in any of those areas to to ask for a grant.”
The cycle starts October 30th.
We’ll be featuring more about the foundation in the coming weeks.
