Justin Liles: More rain and fog develops tonight
We’re looking at additional rain and fog moving in overnight tonight. Some of the fog tonight could become rather thick. Rain will likely continue tomorrow as another weather maker moves in from the west. A fair amount of rain with possibly a thunderstorm or two across NW WI Thursday into Friday.
Snow will potentially fall up north Thursday night into Friday. A close call for over and inch of snow for NE Minnesota Friday though International Falls is still at risk. A notable change in seasons starting late Friday with colder than normal temperatures this weekend. This will likely have impact on anyone planning to wear costumes outside this weekend.
The colder air will likely hang around well into next week. This means cold trick or treating for the kiddos. Wind chills become a thing early next week as they dip into the single digits. Hats, gloves, and thermal wear might be needed under those costumes. Lake effect snow may start along the South Shore snowbelt early next week.
