UWS women's hockey skates to comeback season opening win
In their season and home opener on Friday the University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) women’s hockey team came back from a two goal deficit to defeat Lawrence University 2-1 at Wessman Arena.
UWS would trail 1-0 after the first period. Then in the second period Cora Coz scored the game-tying goal for the Yellowjackets. In the third period Brynn MacLean scored the game-winning goal for UWS.
UWS will look to improve their record to 2-0 Saturday, closing out their series with Lawrence at 2 p.m. at Wessman Arena.
