With the first measurable snow coming in October, the first weekend in November is the perfect time to launch into the next season.

The WinterFest Expo will be held over two days at Fitger’s. It goes from 4-9 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.

There will be wine and whiskey tasting, destination ideas, prizes, and a vintage gear contest.

Linda Nervick also runs Winter Fun 101, which is putting on the WinterFest Expo.

“We have a calendar of events of all the fun things that are happening in the winter as well as fun things to do,” she said. “So if you’re not a winter lover, then you should check us out. Because you might find something that will warm your heart.”
