Students help inspire and educate peers at Make a Difference Conference at the DECC

Students helped inspire and educate their peers at the Youth in Action Make a Difference Conference.

The St. Louis County Youth in Action Make a Difference Conference gave young people a chance to inspire and educate their peers on Thursday.

Students from all across St. Louis County attended the event at the DECC.

This year’s theme was Green: Keep Growing.

They heard from keynote speaker Emily Ford, about her experiences with the outdoors.

And they presented to each other about different topics.

Sponsors like mining companies and Minnesota Power provide the support for the event.
