Authorities make arrest in connection with severe animal neglect case

The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office announced they have arrested a person allegedly involved in what they call a severe animal neglect case.
This stems from someone leaving a pitbull in a ditch, according to Animal Allies. The staff attempted to save Gio, who they have renamed Lovebug. But he died.
Charges are pending.
