Update: Law enforcement release names of teens involved in fatal crash near Orr

Authorities have now identified the two teens involved in a fatal crash near Orr.

It was reported that the vehicle was traveling westbound on Nett Lake Road located southwest of Orr, and it had gone off the road and flipped and struck a tree.  

Upon arrival first responders determined the vehicle was occupied by two male teens. The driver, Travon Raymond Boshey, 17, of Tower, was pronounced dead on scene.

Meanwhile the passenger, Matthew David Goggleye, 17, of Nett Lake, was in critical critical condition and transported by an EMS helicopter to a Duluth area hospital for advanced care.

It appears the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the fatal car crash. Both occupants were wearing their seatbelts.

This incident remains under investigation by St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office and Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office.
