Third period surge lifts the Wilderness past the Wisconsin Windigo
The Minnesota Wilderness extended their Midwest Division lead over the Wisconsin Windigo on Friday night by beating them by a score of 4-1.
Logan Nagle broke the scoring open in the second period after a scoreless first period, finding the back of the net ten minutes into the period.
The third period is where the majority of the scoring was, as the Wilderness tacked on three more goals courtesy of Oliver Stumpel, Aidan Shirey, and Peteris Purmalis.
The Wilderness and Windigo are back in action Saturday night at 7:15 p.m.
