Finalists announced for new Minnesota State Flag
Minnesotans were told to submit their designs for the new Minnesota State Flag. Thousands of designs were entered into the competition and now six finalists have been picked.
The state’s Emblems Redesign Commission worked for more than six hours Wednesday to narrow it down. The Commission could still adjust some of the designs to change things like the shades of the colors. They also chose five options for the new state seal.
There will be a final vote in about two weeks and then the commission will pass those choices along to the State Legislature for final approval.
