Sydney Brodt inks deal with PWHL's Minnesota squad
Former University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s hockey standout Sydney Brodt has inked a new pro deal.
Wednesday the former Minnesota Whitecaps captain officially signed with the new Professional Women’s Hockey League’s Minnesota franchise.
It’s a one-year deal for the North Oaks, Minnesota native.
Last season the forward recorded five goals and four assists in 21 games played for the Whitecaps. A three-time captain at UMD she tallied 98 points over four seasons.
