UMD Men’s hockey doubles up #20 Omaha in first win since October 21st
It's been a tough few weeks for the UMD men's hockey team, having not won a game since October 21st. However, with #20 Omaha in town, the Bulldogs bested the Maverick, 4-2 on Friday night.
It’s been a tough few weeks for the UMD men’s hockey team, having not won a game since October 21st. However, with #20 Omaha in town, the Bulldogs bested the Maverick, 4-2 on Friday night.
The game was scoreless until the second period, when Zach Stejskal got beat by a rocket of a shot by Nolan Krenzen.
The Bulldogs would bounce back though, as Ben Steeves would score just three minutes shy of the second intermission.
In the third period, the Bulldogs came out firing, as goals from Luke Loheit, Connor McMenamin, and Quinn Olson put their total at four for the game.
The Bulldogs are back in AMSOIL Arena on Saturday to take on the Mavericks at 5:07 p.m.
