Six new deputies join St. Louis County’s Sheriff’s Office

Six new deputies joined the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office during a ceremony on Tuesday.

Trevor Dowton, Nicholas Brown, Zachary Hway, Saul Jeanetta, Daniel Merrill and Madison Sand were all welcomed to the office by Sheriff Gordon Ramsay.

“This is a difficult profession, and we need to keep the best and the brightest” said Sheriff Gordon Ramsay. “By establishing good relationships with the people we serve, we can do our role better, and it’s more enjoyable. Our best deputies know how to use the authority we’re given and treat people well.”

The ceremony also highlighted nine deputies who have been promoted in the last year.
