Hermantown boys hockey shuts out Duluth Marshall
Tuesday night the Hermantown boys hockey team remained undefeated shutting out Duluth Marshall 3-0 in a Lake Superior Conference Clash at Hermantown Arena.
The Hilltoppers held the Hawks scoreless through the first period. In the second A.J. Francisco broke through, then Weston Bohlman made it 2-0. Will Esterbrooks scored their final goal in the third period.
The Hawks improve to 3-0-1 and next host defending Class A state champions Mahtomedi Saturday at 1:15 p.m.. It will be a rematch of the 2022-2023 state semifinals were the Zephyrs beat the Hawks 2-1.
Duluth Marshall (1-3-1) next hosts Bagley/Fosston Friday at 6 p.m..
