The Itasca Driftskippers host another successful Christmas party, even without snow!
The Driftskippers snowmobile club celebrated with around 100 kids.
About 100 kids with special needs attended the annual Christmas party hosted by the Itasca Driftskippers.
It started about 50 years ago, and has grown ever since. Joann Rancourt is one of the original founders. “We get lists from the teachers, so the kids can get what they want. And Santa delivers!”
Cookies and hot cocoa were also on the agenda.
Austin Koppelmann, a para from VanDyke Elementary, said, “This event provides a lot of excitement, a lot of joy.”
Even without snow, the kids had a blast on rides on ATVS and side-by-sides.
