Hermantown boy’s hockey overpowered by Warroad
Hermantown boy’s hockey was overpowered by Warroad on Saturday.
In a must see matchup on Saturday, the Hermantown boy’s hockey team fell to Warroad 4-1.
Hermantown, ranked #1 in Class 1A, couldn’t seem to contain #2 Warroad early on, as the Warriors were on the board with two goals in the first eight minutes.
The Hawks would cut the deficit down to 2-1 when River Freeman found Henry Peterson darting towards the net, and the first period would end with the Hawks down just a goal.
However, Warroad would add two goals to the tally in the second period, and with neither team scoring in the third, the Hawks were upset on their home ice.
Hermantown’s next chance at a win comes on Tuesday against Hibbing/Chisholm.
