An indoor MLK Peace and Unity March and Rally in Virginia, at the Iron Trail Motors Event Center.

The community was invited to walk a mile for Dr. King on the indoor walking track.

Then there were speakers and fun activities for the kids.

We are excited to be able to partner this year with the City of Virginia, the Human Rights Commission, and the Iron Trail Motors Event Center to bring this inclusive event to our communities,” said Antavius Thomas, Minnesota North College, Mesabi Range, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Director. “It is important to take time to remember and salute Martin Luther King, Jr. and recognize his significant contributions to this country and the world.”

This free family event is brought to the community through a partnership between Minnesota North College – Mesabi Range, the Virginia Human Rights Commission, Virginia and Eveleth Elks Clubs, US Steel, and the Iron Trail Motors Event Center.
