Suspect sought in robbery at the Kenwood Walgreens
UPDATE: As of February 12, the robbery at the Kenwood Walgreens remains an active investigation, according to the Duluth Police Public Information Officer, Mattie Hjelseth.
The Duluth Police Department continues to investigate a robbery that occured during the evening at the Kenwood Walgreens on Tuesday, January 16. The suspect in this incident fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. Later that week, the Duluth Police Department shared a surveilliance photo showing who they say is the alleged suspect.
The DPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying a person of interest in a robbery at the Kenwood Walgreens on Tuesday, January 16. In the surveilliance photo, the person is seen wearing a black face mask, plaid jacket, blue jeans, black shoes, and black gloves.

Original Story: The Duluth Police Department continue to investigate a robbery at the Kenwood Walgreens on Tuesday evening. Officials say the suspect has not been located.
According to police, officers responded to a report of a robbery Tuesday night at the 1600 block of Kenwood Avenue. When officers arrived on scene they spoke to employees who said an individual brandished a firearm and demanded money.
One employee gave an undetermined amount of cash to the individual, and the suspect fled the scene on foot. Officers were unable to locate the suspect. No one was injured in the incident.
Duluth Police will review security cameras and will provide an update on the investigation when more details come in.
