Temperatures will cool through the evening hours which will lead to some freezing drizzle potential and some potentially slick roadways. Additionally, Iron and Ashland will see a little bit of lake enhancement from the northwesterly winds. This will nudge the forecast towards some increased snow productions. However, the sum amount will likely be just a dusting. Unseasonable warm weather looks to stick around over the next week.

Chances for precipitation in the extended the next week are nearly nothing. Other than the light snow along the south shore which may get a dusting and end Tuesday afternoon, there is nothing on the horizon. Several temperature records may be broken. Heading into the weekend the upper level pattern turns into an omega block with the Northland directly under the calm zone. This means our unseasonably warm weather will likely stick around though the first two weeks of February.
