Charges made in Duluth stabbing

The Duluth Police Department detained and arrested Charles Knauer, 44, of Duluth early Thursday morning for a stabbing on the 6700 block of Redruth St.

A 35-year-old man was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Duluth Police Department and court documents indicate that both parties were involved in an altercation prior to the stabbing.

Knauer has been charged with 2 counts of 2nd degree assault with a dangerous weapon.

The Duluth Police Department utilized their drone unit and members of their Tactical Response Team in the detainment and arrest.
