UMD football adds two to coaching staff
The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) football team is welcoming two fresh faces to their coaching staff. On Wednesday they announced the hiring of Mekhi Ware as their new cornerbacks coach, and Bobby Cade Mornhinweg as their tight ends coach.
Ware comes from Midwestern State where he served as a graduate assistant defensive backs coach. As a player, he was a starting cornerback for Indiana State.
Mornhinweg joins UMD from North Dakota State University (NDSU) where he served as an offensive analyst. Prior to NDSU he was a tight end coach at Carroll College.
He is the son of Marty Mornhinweg who coached in the NFL for over 20 seasons.
