St. Francis native and two time Grandma’s Marathon winner Dakotah Lindwurm is headed to the 2024 Olympics after taking third at the U.S. Olympic marathon trials with a time of 2:25:31.
Lindwurm won back to back Grandma’s Marathons in 2021 and 2022, and her victory in 2022 made her the 12th fastest U.S. women’s marathoner of all time.
“I just had this undeniable belief in myself,” said Lindwurm. “I knew I could carry this flag on my shoulders and represent this country, and here we are.”
