Temporary closure of 300 block of Michigan Street

Traffic Notice: Motorists should be aware that a temporary closure of the 300 block of W Michigan Street is planned for Wednesday beginning at approximately 8:00 a.m. According to the City of Duluth, the entire street and sidewalk on the northside of the street will be closed and inaccessible.

This is a one-day temporary closure. A detour will be signed and is indicated in the map below.

City officials say the closure is needed so a contractor can deliver equipment to the Medical Arts Building using heavy machinery.

Two-way traffic will be allowed east of Fourth Avenue W to allow access to the Medical Arts parking garage. Two-way traffic will also be allowed west of Third Avenue W for access to the parking garage at 302 W Michigan Street.
