UPDATE: Missing Longville woman found safe

UPDATE: Sheriff Welk from Cass County reports that missing person was located safe in the Park Rapids, MN area. The Cass County Sheriff’s Office thanks the multiple agencies that assisted with this investigation and successful outcome.

PREVIOUSLY: Cass County Sheriff’s Office was asking for the public’s help locating a missing elderly woman.

Mary Jane Wiemann, 82, went missing from her residence in Longville, MN. She is 5 foot 6 inches, weighs approximately 170 pounds, and has hazel eyes. Wiemann was likely driving a silver 2017 GMC Terrain SUV.

Wiemann likely may appear confused and would have trouble returning to her residence. Wiemann’s direction of travel is unknown at this time, but she may be attempting to travel to the Duluth, MN area.
