Duluth Police search for suspect in armed robbery

Update: The Duluth Police Department have released a picture of the suspect in an armed robbery that occurred on Sunday, February 11 at approximately 7:00 p.m.

The suspect in the photo is seen wearing a grey face/head covering, white t-shirt, grey zip-up jacket, white gloves, black pants, and black slip on shoes.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call DPD’s Violent Crimes Unit at (218)-730-5050 and reference ICR# 24019135. An anonymous tip can be submitted by texting keyword ‘DPDTIP’ and your tip to 847411.

Original Story: Duluth Police search for the suspect in an armed robbery that occurred on Sunday night at approximately 7 p.m. According to the Duluth Police Department, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Cenex Short Stop at 1301 E 9th Street.

Police say the suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money before officers arrived. No one was injured during this incident.

This remains an active and ongoing investigation. Duluth Police say no further information will be released at this time.

Duluth Police are also investigating a separate robbery that occurred at the Kenwood Walgreens during the evening on January 16.
