Justin Liles: Some parts of the Northland to see some light snow.
A clipper system will move through tonight and bring some light snowfall to parts of the Northland. Most of the region won’t see much snow. Any snowfall accumulations will end up being around an inch or less. As a warm front moves through tomorrow, temperatures will once again be above average. Some sunshine is possible around the region around mid-morning to early afternoon.
There is another chance for snow across southern areas will be possible Wednesday night into Thursday as a system passes to our south. Once again, most areas will see less than and inch of snow. If traveling to Minneapolis, Eau Claire, and areas south of this line, a little more snowfall is possible and could create some slick travel.
Gusty winds will take over Thursday along with colder air. Most of our area will likely see teens by Friday, especially the Minnesota side. Northern Wisconsin will hang out near 20°F. With the colder air coming in out of the Northwest, light lake effect snow could linger along the south shore through the weekend. Light amounts of snow are expected.
