Duluth man arrested for assault with shovel

The Duluth Police Department arrested a 42-year-old Duluth man for assaulting someone with a small shovel Thursday morning on the 1200 block of E 9th St.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

The suspected individual was also transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and were then transported to the County Jail for pending charges.

The Duluth Police Department reports that they were able to use their Drone Team to aid in the investigation.
