Prep boy’s basketball: Duluth East squeaks out win, Superior falls on home court
In some Saturday hoops, Duluth East edged Mount Westonka 58-56 while Superior fell to Chippewa Falls 70-62.
Duluth East had an impressive start to their game, as they were firing on all cylinders and couldn’t miss from all over the court.
The Greyhounds were able to pull out their 7th win of the year, and will turn to face Cloquet on Tuesday as their season nears an end.
In Superior, Tresean Sanigar led the way for the Spartans with 17 points, while Brandon Aker and Kyle Johnson poured in 10 and 11 points respectively.
Superior had trouble on the defensive end though, allowing three Chippewa Falls players to have over 17 points.
Superior is back in action on Thursday in Hermantown.
