Astrid Loken became the first young woman to earn her Eagle Scout ranking in the Arrowhead District. She went in front of the review board at the Kitchi Gammi Club on Tuesday night in order to gain her Eagle.

Astrid is a senior at Hermantown High School. She worked at a scout camp for the past two summers and plans to work at the camp this upcoming summer as well. Her Eagle Scout project was making Dignity Care boxes for the teachers at the middle school. She created 50 boxes and delivered them to the school last week.
