Reddit is going public. The message board site founded in 2005 hopes to debut on Wall Street in the next few weeks with a valuation of at least $5 billion dollars. Reddit is going to allow its most prolific users to buy shares at the IPO price.
Then, Google is pausing its AI image generator after overcorrecting for diversity.
The Gemini chatbot was churning out historical images including America’s founding fathers and Nazi soldiers as people of color. Google says its working to fix the issue and plans to release an improved version of the AI tool soon.
Microsoft’s generative erase tool is coming to the windows photos app. It won’t just be in the newest version of the operating system. Microsoft is backporting the features to Windows 10. The update has already begun rolling out to Windows insiders.
