Firefighters extinguish house fire in Hibbing on Sunday

According to the Northland Fire Wire, Hibbing firefighters quickly put out a house fire on Sunday, March 10th.

The fire was reported around 4:50 P.M. in the 2900 block of 6th Avenue East.

The fire was quickly contained to the back of the house and extinguished.

Chisholm, Keewatin, and Virginia fire departments were also dispatched but were later canceled.

The Northland Fire Wire says no injuries were reported. The Hibbing Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
