Porch fire quickly put out by Virginia Fire Department on Sunday

On Sunday, March 10th the Virginia Fire Department quickly extinguished a small fire contained in a small area of the back of a house in Virginia.

According to the Northland Fire Wire, the Virginia Fire Department was called to the 500 block of 8th Street South at 3:00 P.M. Sunday.

Eveleth, Mountain Iron, and Hibbing Fire Departments were also called but canceled en route.

The Northland Fire Wire says the cause of the fire is under investigation by the Virginia Fire Marshal’s Office.
