UPDATE: The missing 16-year-old from Bigfork has been located safe

The Itasca County Sheriff’s Office is canceling the missing person alert for 16 year old, Alissa Plieseis. According to authorities, Alissa has been located and is safe. They thank everyone who assisted in trying to locate her.

Authorities are asking for help in locating a missing teenager from Bigfork. According to the Itasca County Sheriff’s Office, Alissa Plieseis, 16, left her home in Bigfork at around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 9 and has not returned.
It is unclear where Alissa was going when she left, but authorities believe she was on foot. She was last seen wearing a camouflage hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
According to the report from the Minnesota BCA, Alissa’s hair color is currently red. She is 5 foot 6 inches tall with blue eyes.
