Harbor City Roller Derby skates into a new season
Harbor City Roller Derby has been practicing for their annual skate-a-thon and bout season.
Each year the Twin Ports team hosts the skate-a-thon to raise money for the league.
Saturday, March 23 from 2 – 4 p.m. team members will find out how many laps they can skate in 60 minutes.
You sponsor a skater and either pledge a flat rate or amount per a lap.
Plus, for the first time since before the pandemic, there’s also some home bouts coming up.
On Saturday, April 13, Harbor City will face off against Twin Cities based Minnesota Roller Derby at Wessman Arena.
And on Saturday, September 14 at Superior Curling Club, they’ll take on the Mississippi Valley Mayhem which is based in La Crosse.
The team invites you to make a pledge, watch a bout, volunteer, or even learn how to play.
