Spring Fundraiser coming up to support Lake Superior Lodge 9 Fraternal Order of Police
A call to action. That’s what the 2024 Spring Fundraiser by Lake Superior Lodge 9 Fraternal Order of Police is being called.
It’s Sunday, April 7th, from 11am-3pm, at the Aad Shrine Meeting and Event Center in Hermantown.
This event is dedicated to supporting the law enforcement community, with all proceeds aiding officers, deputies, and other public servant members and their families through financial, material, and support services.
In times of need, officers are there for us. They run towards those incidents civilians run away from without hesitation. Now, it’s the community’s turn to be there for them. Past contributions have transformed lives—providing essentials for those in uniform, holiday joy for grieving families, and critical mental health support. These actions aren’t just gestures; they’re lifelines.
Troy ‘Tig’ Fralich, president of Lodge 9, added, “Our annual fundraiser is always great, because sometimes we only hear about negative things for law enforcement. But here is when the silent majority comes out, and the outpouring of support is great.”
This fundraiser isn’t merely an event; it’s a call to action—a chance to show unwavering support for those who face danger head-on to keep us safe. You’re encouraged to come join a powerful demonstration of gratitude and ensure these heroes have everything they need to thrive, not just survive.
“It’s like a reunion of the law enforcement family,” shared Amber Brostrom, the event organizer. “I’m really excited. We have 125 items to be raffled off. There are games and activities for people of all ages.”
Plus there will be food from Tig’s Smok’n Pig BBQ.
