Zach Stejskal enters transfer portal, UMD loses third senior
UMD men’s hockey has now lost a third senior to the transfer portal, and this time it’s between the pipes.
Goaltender Zach Stejskal is leaving UMD after four years.
In 57 career games with the Bulldogs, the Cohasset native posted a .903 save percentage and 2.78 goals against average.
Prior to college, Stejskal backstopped Grand Rapids to a 2017 Class AA state title, their first in 37 years.
UMD will return sophomore goalie Zach Sandy, as well as welcome in two freshmen.
