Tech Bytes: Cracking down on movie piracy
There’s a new crackdown on movie piracy. The Motion Picture Association is going to work with Congress, on new rules blocking websites with pirated content. The group says it has cost over a billion dollars in movie ticket sales. A similar effort in 2012 stalled over free speech concerns.
Google just unveiled a new AI powered video creation tool. It’s called Google Vids, billed as your video editing, writing and production assistant, all in one. It will be part of the Google Workspace, allowing you to collaborate with colleagues in real time in the browser.
YouTube Music has a new feature. The activity feed will alert you when your favorite artists releases new music. It will appear under the bell icon normally used for notifications. Subscribing to artists and/or channels will help you take full advantage of the feature.
