O.J. Simpson, the former football great acquitted of murder, has died, according to his family. In a post from the family of O.J. Simpson on the social media platform X, O.J. Simpson died on April 10th. The post says Orenthal James Simpson succumbed to his battle with cancer.
He was 76 years old.

The family announced on Simpson’s official X account that he died Wednesday of prostate cancer. Simpson’s attorney confirmed to TMZ on Thursday that he died in Las Vegas.
On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer.
