Two local colleges are welcoming new Northland athletes.
Monday, Duluth Marshall’s Brooks Johnson announced he’s committed to play basketball for UMD.
Just a junior last year, he led the Hilltoppers in points, averaging over 32 a game with 899 on the season. In rebounds, Johnson averaged nearly 17 a game.
Additionally, UWS track and field has signed International Falls’ Keira Hesseldahl.
Her older sister, Summer, was a freshman with the Yellowjackets this season.
