Schelonka smacks out three run homer as CSS baseball topples UWS
Jake Schelonka smacked out a three-run homer Wednesday helping lift the College of St. Scholastica (CSS) baseball team to a big 14-4 victory over the University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) at Wade Stadium. The match marked the Saints and Yellowjackets first meeting since April 28, 2021.
Schelonka hit his three-run homer in the third inning to give CSS a 4-0 lead over UWS. He’d finish with one run, one hit and three RBI, while Adam Braun added one hit and two RBI, and Nathan Wickham recorded three runs, three hits and one RBI.

Earning their fourth straight win CSS (20-11) will next visit Saint John’s University for a doubleheader Saturday at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. UWS (17-13) will next visit the University of Northwestern (St. Paul) Thursday at 6 p.m.
