So much fun at the first Prom with Purpose in Itasca County
(IASC)
Students from multiple schools in Itasca County put on a successful Prom with Purpose last Friday.
It started with an idea from Kayla Jenkins, a student from Grand Rapids.
This sensory-friendly inclusive event included getting all fancy, lunch, grand march, and of course the dance.
The Cohasset Community Center donated space for the day-long event.
About 50 students attended, along with the student council planners. Parents also had a great time.
Itasca Area School Collaborative would love donations to help cover expenses for next year.
