20 years ago Thursday, CSS students played mud volleyball. They called it “oozeball.”

It used to be an annual tradition. In 2004, it cost the school $2,000 to bring the mud in.

One person described it as “cold, muddy wet, horrible,” but worth it.

The winners of the tournament got T-shirts and $100 to split among their teammates.
